About the opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and commercially minded Supply Chain Lead to join our Cottonseed & Feed Grains team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the movement of cottonseed and grain contracts and inventory, ensuring efficient and cost-effective execution while maximising value for the business. You will work closely with internal trading teams, cotton gins, customers and transport providers to manage inventory, coordinate freight movements, support contract execution and maintain strong supply chain performance. No two days will be the same. One day you may be planning inventory movements to avoid capacity constraints, and the next you could be negotiating freight rates, analysing logistics opportunities, supporting trading activities or coordinating customer deliveries. A Little About You You are highly organised, thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy balancing multiple priorities. You have strong analytical skills, a commercial mindset and the confidence to work with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. Ideally, you will bring: - Experience in logistics, supply chain, transport or inventory management
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving abilities
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP (highly regarded)
- The ability to think ahead, identify risks and drive practical solutions
