About the opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Leading Hand to join our fast‑paced warehouse operation at the Dalby Cotton Gin. This hands‑on role is ideal for an operator who enjoys leading by example, working safely, and supporting seasonal teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes in a busy cotton warehousing environment.

 

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will assist with the coordination of daily warehouse activities, supervise seasonal employees, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with DAFF requirements and site procedures.

 

About you

To be successful you'll bring this:

  • Experience in a fast-moving warehouse role (agriculture or cotton industry highly regarded)
  • Current forklift licence (required)
  • AQIS certification or ability to obtain (required)
  • Prior experience in a Leading Hand or Team Lead capacity (highly regarded) 
  • Great work ethic, reliable and a positive attitude
  • Be a team player
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work with data systems

You will need to be flexible in relation to hours worked which may include day or night shifts, long days during peak season, plus Saturdays depending on operational requirements.
