About the opportunity

We are looking for a temporary Warehouse Operator & AQIS Officer to join our fast-paced warehouse at the Dalby Cotton Gin. Your primary role will be the AQIS duties i.e. inspect empty containers and plant inspections. In between inspections you'll support the team by efficiently and safely operating machinery and equipment such as forklift and sweeper. Here some of the tasks you will be undertaking:

• Inspecting all containers and plant products in line with DAFF policies and procedures
• Bale scanning
• Moving bales and building lots
• General cleaning duties

About you

To be successful you'll bring this:

• DAFF Authorised Officer accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
• Great work ethic, reliable and a positive attitude
• Be a team player
• Excellent communication skills
• Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work with data systems
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities to support the team
