Queensland Cotton is owned by Olam Agri, and our purpose is to proudly transform food, feed and fibre for a more sustainable future.

 

We've been supporting Australian agriculture for more than 100 years operating in multiple products, across multiple States. The largest and original business is in cotton & cottonseed however we have grown the portfolio now to include chickpeas, mung beans and sorghum in Qld/NSW, and grains, cereals and other pulse commodities in SA & VIC. Our Olam Agri colleagues across 30 plus countries, handle dozens of other commodities too.

What we seek

 

To be successful, you will be well-versed with export documentation and have experience working a small and friendly team, in a busy environment. You will have amazing attention to detail and a calm, flexible style. You will take great ownership for your work and have advanced time management skills to ensure work is prioritised and well-executed. Experience with SAP is highly desirable.

 

Some of the varied activities that you'll require experience with, include:

  • proofing Letters of Credit
  • chasing and preparing export documentation & Phyto certificates
  • coordinating with offshore teams
  • data entry pertaining to sales contracts and shipping orders
  • preparing packing instructions
  • liaising with shipping lines and proofing draft Bill of Ladings
  • back up for Cottonseed team
