Queensland Cotton (QC) has been an integral part of Australian agriculture for over 100 years and prides itself on being a company that operates across a multitude of commodities including cotton, cottonseed, chickpeas, mung beans and sorghum. About the opportunity

A role based within the Border Rivers region will see you offer market intelligence for cotton lint pricing, cotton seed and contracting decisions, while also supporting the activities of the Manager of Grower Services. The role has a strong focus on communication and relationship management with growers and industry alike and offers a balance of office time and days of travel visiting growers throughout cotton regions.

 

About you

Whilst Agribusiness qualifications are advantageous and ideally you will already have experience in the accumulation of agriculture commodities, what is really critical is your passion and commitment for Australian agriculture and the drive to build long lasting grower relationships. As long as you bring the right mature-minded mindset, attitude and interpersonal skills to engage with our growers, we can teach you the rest.

  • Be self-motivated, can work autonomously and have strong ownership.
  • Strong administration and time management skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • Experience in business development & sales, or the capability and drive to learn this.
  • Live in the Riverina region or are willing to re-locate to this area.
