About the job We are looking for a highly organised, friendly and approachable individual committed to providing a high level of customer service, to be the face of Queensland Cotton in our Newstead office. As our new Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for customers and visitors, and you will also support the wider Brisbane based team with a range of administrative activities. Reporting to our Executive Assistant & Business Support, this role is suitable to an individual interested in an 8:30-2:30/3pm role. A snapshot of the role: - Greeting visitors upon arrival to the office and triaging any inquiries as appropriate
- Answering phone calls
- Coordination of incoming and outgoing mail, couriers and deliveries
- Responsible for stock control e.g., ordering of stationary, office supplies etc.
- Credit card reconciliations
- Raising purchase orders
- Carry out clerical support tasks such as organising meetings, preparing presentations, collating data, setting up of meeting rooms
- Scheduling and following up with meetings and events
- Any other administration duties as required by the team, including events support
